Introduction to the Wesak Festival – Full Moon of May 2015

The Wesak Festival is the most important of the three major ascended master festivals.  It is the time of the year at the Taurus full moon when humanity receives the highest frequency of light.  Wesak is a living event based on current astrological cycles, not past events that occurred centuries ago, as most religions celebrate. The Wesak Festival is the Festival of the Buddha, commemorating the anniversary of his birth, this attainment of buddhahood and his ascension.  The Buddha, the perfect expression of the wisdom aspect of God, is the embodiment of light and divine purpose.

This is the great Eastern festival, and servers to show the solidarity of East and West.  The term “Wesak” refers to the Wesak Valley in the Himalayas, where every year all the ascended masters gather on both the inner and outer planes to share in a sacred ceremony.  At the precise rising of the full moon in May, the Manu Allah Gobi; Lord Maitreya, the Christ; and Saint Germain, the Mahachohan, stand in a triangular formation around a bowl of water, transmitting cosmic energies into the water and through Lord Maitreya to be disseminated to the Spiritual Hierarchy and the initiates, disciples and new group of World Servers.

At the end of the ceremony the water is shared by all those in attendance.  Wesak is also the time when initiations are given to the disciples on Earth by Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha and more recently by Lord Melchizadek, the Universal Logos.

The Wesak is a time of great renewal and celebration.  The quality of energy is the “force of enlightenment.”  This energy emanates from the heart of God and is related to divine understanding and the love/wisdom aspect of God.  On a planetary level it initiates the new world education.

This affects educational movement, values, literature, publishing, television, radio, newspaper, magazines, writiers, teachers and speakers on the entire planet.  This force of enlightenment so prevalent at Wesak is why large groups coming together at this time can be such an awesome experience.  Wesak is where the greatest window for mass enlightenment can occur on a planetary level. 

During the ceremony Buddha sounds forth a great mantra and becomes an absorbing agent for the first-ray force.  Buddha then uses the magnetic power of the second ray to attract this force to himself.  He holds it steady and then redirects it to Lord Maitreya, who is the receiving agent of this energy.  This energy is then disseminated to the seven chohans and their ashrams for a sevenfold expression and direction into the world. 

All the disciples and initiates on Earth are invited to come to the Wesak Valley, attend this sacred ceremony and join in the festivities.  This is also a time to come and stand before Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha and Sanat Kumara to give your vows of service and receive special blessings.

The Wesak Festival has been regarded by the inner-plane ascended masters to be of paramount importance in world affairs.  Through the two representatives of deity on our planet, the worlds of spiritual realities and human affairs are being brought closer and closer together.

Many people have dreamed of this event but have not known its spiritual significance and where or why they were doing what they were doing in the dream.  At Wesak a channel is opened for humanity that allows disciples and initiates to contact certain energies not normally available or as easily accessible.  This allows great expansions of consciousness to take place. 

Djwhal Khul has also stated that “It is the intention of the Buddha and the Christ that in each country there shall eventually be someone who will act as their representative at the time of the two festivals, so that the distribution of spiritual energy form the first great aspect or ray will be directed from the Buddha to the Christ and then from the Christ to those initiates in every country who can be overshadowed, and so act as channels for the direct current of energy.”  This references the Festival of the Christ (The full moon in April) and the Wesak Festival.

Djwhal Khul, in the Alice Bailey book, Ponder on This, also has said about the Wesak:  “No costs is too great to pay in order to be of use to the Spiritual Hierarchy at the time of the full moon in May, the Wesak Festival.  No price is too high in order to gain the spiritual illumination which can be possible, particularly at that time.”

The Wesak has four basic functions:

1.      To substantiate Christ’s continued physical appearance on Earth.

2.      To physically prove the solidarity of the Eastern and Western approaches to God.

3.      To form a rallying point and meeting place for those who annually, both literally and symbolically, link up and represent the Father’s house, the kingdom of God and humanity.

4.      To demonstrate the nature of the work of Christ as the great and chosen intermediary and leader of the Spiritual Hierarchy and the disciples and initiates on Earth.  He voices the Hierarchy’s demand for the recognition of the factual existence of the kingdom of God here and now (see Alice Bailey’s Ponder on This, pp. 422-423). 

The purposes of the Wesak Festival are as follows:

1.      The releasing of certain transmissions of energy to humanity that will stimulate the spirit of love, brotherhood and goodwill.

2.     The fusion of all men and women of goodwill into a responsive, integrated whole. 

3.     The invocation and response from certain cosmic beings if prior goals are achieved.

Through the Buddha the wisdom of God is poured forth.  Through the Christ, Maitreya, the love of God is made manifest to humanity.  This festival links the work of the Buddha and the Lord Maitreya symbolically and literally.

(This is not the first time that Lord Maitreya and the Lord Buddha have joined together.  It should be remembered by those who have studied Eastern religion that Lord Maitreya was the great avatar Lord Krishna in a past life and Buddha was at that time his disciple, Arjuna.  Their work together continues now in a much more cosmic and expanded form.)

This is a time of enormous blessings being poured forth to the disciples, initiates, a new group World Servers and humanity on Earth.  As the masters, initiates and disciples leave the ceremony, they are filled with a sense of renewed strength to undertake another year of world service. Are you beginning to see, my friends, the enormous importance of the Wesak Festival?

From the perspective of the ascended masters, it is the single greatest event on our planet, one that has the greatest effect on the human race.  It is also in this time that the lodge of masters meets on the inner plane for the following four reasons (outlined by Djwhal Khul in the Alice Bailey books):  “To contact spiritual force, which is transmitted to our planet through the medium of the Buddha and the Christ; to confer together as to the immediate necessity and the work to be done for humanity; to admit to initiation those who are ready; and to stimulate their disciples to increased activity and service.”

Can you imagine the effects on this planet when all humanity consciously celebrates the Wesak Festival?  In recent times a call has been sent out by the entire Spiritual Hierarchy of ascended master to all initiates and disciples and new group of World Servers to prepare themselves at teach May full moon for an intensive holy month accelerated service.  This effort is to increase the receptivity of humanity to the new spiritual forces released at this time. 

The actual Wesak focus has recently been extended to cover five days for work and services:  the two days prior to the full moon, the day of the festival itself and the two days after the Wesak Ceremony.  The two days of preparation are called the Days of Renunciation and Detachment.  The day of the festival is called the Day of Safeguarding, and the two succeeding days are called the Days of Distribution. This demands five days of intensive service.

How to Reprogram your Subconscious

This really isn't as hard as you would think.  And thinking is what it is all about!!!  Did anyone read "The Secret" or see the movie?   There were many good tips in it about how to use the Law of Repetition, The Law of Attraction, etc to help change your life. However, they left out a very important ingredient!!!  One that I have added so that people will fully understand how to Reprogram their Subconscious (s/c) Mind.

Let's use this premise - our conscious mind is the every day thinking mind where our logic and reasoning is located...this part is 12% of our mind power.  Some say that logic + reasoning = willpower.  That thing we never have when we need it to make changes.  That is because all of our programs, habits and patterns are stored in the Subconscious mind which is 88% of our mind power. 

When trying to make changes using  only the conscious mind's 12%, it's like 88 horses pulling against 12 horses to make a change using only one part of your brain.  To make deep lasting changes in the 88% it always takes 21 days, or repetitions to have the changes fully register in the s/c.  We must have the cooperation of the s/c.  This is the most important ingredient to remember - it takes 21 times or repetitions to make a lasting change in the s/c mind.  

To do this we need to remember that the s/c is like talking to an 8 year old child.  It needs the 21 days or more of repetitions, it does not hear the word "no or not", and it always thinks it is trying to help you.

When a habit or pattern is in the s/c - it is just there!  It is not positive or negative.  Therefore, the s/c feels very threatened if you try to change....this is when feelings of fear, sabotage, even the old fight or flight, survival feelings come up  The s/c is trying to protect you from making any changes. Plus, it is like talking to a child.

In order to make changes on your own -- you must take "baby steps" and keep things simple.  Do not try to change several things at once that will only confuse the s/c.  Stay with one thing at a time. Decide what you want to change, write it down, and look at that statement every day.  Remember to write it in a positive way.  If you say:  I will NOT eat that chocolate cake.  The s/c does not hear the word "not" - so you are really saying to the s/c:  I will eat that chocolate cake.  Always state things in the positive:  I eat less and less chocolate cake. 

Did you know that the 30 minutes before you go to sleep at night are when you are the most suggestible?  That is a time to put positive thoughts of change in your subconscious.  At the same time,  you can also visualize the positive outcome that you want to achieve.  Then the s/c will work on helping you make those changes all night long.  Remember to do this for 21 days in a row for lasting changes. (sometimes it takes longer depending on the issue).

It is also important to understand that the dreams we have after 4:00 a.m. are called our "venting dreams".  This is the time when the s/c is releasing the old problems.  Some people have disturbing dreams at that time, they wake up thinking, "oh no, this bad thing is going to happen!"  NO!!!!!! this is the s/c trying to get rid of the old habit or problems.  Simply say:  "Thank you, please keep moving out of my life!"

And remember the s/c mind doesn't like to have a void or vacuum, it will fill it up with things you may not want.  So, whatever you are trying to change --  think of a positive thing to replace it.  Write that down at the same time you write the old problem so that you can quickly fill in the void with a positive.

Did I say this wasn't hard?  It isn't if you are diligent and determined to make positive changes in your life..... 21 repetitions will change patterns in the s/c which is 88% of your mind power!  Have fun and good luck!

         Rev. Dr. Betsie Poinsett is an amazing healer and hypnotherapist.  I opted to purchase her recommended three hypnotherapy remote sessions because I knew I had some deeply rooted traumas I needed to address in order to move my life in the most positive direction possible.  At first, it was hard for me to justify spending a large amount on myself.  I am a mother of two small children, and it’s also hard to find the time to commit to taking care of oneself.  However, I just knew that this trauma in my soul needed to be addressed.  Having known Betsie for several years, and having had hypnotherapy with her before, I trusted she was just the person to help me release my past into the light.

Peace and harmony are the natural modes of human existence.  It is time to heal myself by canceling, nullifying and dissolving all negative mental complexes that have caused me to create realities that are neither peaceful, harmonious or life-enhancing.

It is to my highest good to cancel, nullify and dissolve all guilt, fear and feelings of sinfulness or unworthiness.  These concepts are artificial concepts and distortions that have no basis in the reality of the highest Universal Truths.

The Universal Mind does not recognize or deal in the concepts of guilt, sin or fear.  These concepts are self-created distortions of limited third-dimensional thought.  There is no reason why I should allow myself to be affected by these limiting distortions.  It is unnatural, undesirable and unhealthy.

In the highest Truth the concepts known as sin, guilt and fear do not exist.  In fact, the highest Truth is an aspect of Universal Light, Love and Truth.  This is the divine grace of the Holy Spirit.  As I release the distortions of the third dimensional plane, I will find great pleasure in the Truth of Truth.

Relax and Let Go.  Be still in mind and emotions and bring the focus of your attention to your heart center where the Permanent Atom of Universal  Love is located.  Say to yourself:  I am love, I am loved, I am loving.  I feel the love vibration in my heart…I feel it expanding throughout my body.  All there is is love…..love……love……love

In your mind’s eye see that Atom of Universal Love in your heart center.  Imagine it as a shining crystal of love, a glistening jewel of love.  Contemplate it.  Focus on the Love Diamond with clarity of vision and know that all the love in the universe is concentrated right there, within you.  Now in your imagination see it slowly open to release its light.  See the radiant rays begin to flow, moving and filling your entire energy field, your mind, your feelings, your body.  See yourself as a radiating Center of Divine Love.  See the Love Essence radiating and filling the room where you are, and continuing to flow in streams of Golden Light moving out across the room where you are, and continuing to flow in streams of Golden Light moving out across the land to encircle this planet.  See the radiance of your Permanent Atom of Universal Love flowing like a mighty stream and see this world filled with the light of love.  Now say to yourself:

I am Universal Love in radiant expression, and I now love as I have never loved before in my life.  I silently, powerfully and intensely radiate my love, and I send it everywhere without exception.  I see it flowing into my body, my loved ones.  I see the Cosmic Rays of Love going before me to envelope and permeate everyone in my consciousness. Those who have rejected me, who have hurt me, who have not recognized my true worth, I send my love to you with no conditions attached.  I love you for Who and What you are.   I love everyone without exception.  I love everything without exception.  I am the mighty power of god’s love in radiant expression, and I let my love go before me to heal and harmonize every condition in my life.

Spirit of the Living God within, I am your love.  I am your love in expression and I will keep this love vibration in my heart and thoughts of love in my mind, moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, for I know that as I begin to love more and more, every limitation in my life will vanish and my personal world will become whole and joyous.

And the light is growing and spreading.  My light of love is joining with others who have opened the Crystal of Love and together we are saturating this world with love.  The healing has begun, it is happening now, and I am doing my part to dissolve the limitations of humankind and restore this world to sanity.

I love as I have never loved before.  I can love because I know who and what I am, I am love, and I will never hold back my love.  I will let it forever flow unconditionally, universally, divinely, powerfully and intensely. I am love and I rest now in the silence, thinking only of the love I am and the love I give and the love I receive.
